Directions
Preheat Oven to 400F
In a large bowl combine cinnamon, truvia, sugar, salt, baking powder, and flour.
Add cubed butter and using a pastry blender or big fork blend the butter into the flour mixture. It will be flaky and a little dry.
Slowly add in the heavy cream and vanilla, combine together to form a dough.
Using floured hands roll the dough into a ball and on a floured surface roll dough out into a circle. I use the palm of my hands to roll out thee dough into a circle.
Cut the dough into 8 triangles and place each on a cookie sheet or pizza stone.
Bake at 400F for 15-20 minutes.
While these sweet scones are baking, let's enjoy some tea, and make the glaze.
In a tea mug add the 1/4 cup of warm water and soak in the 3 tea bags.
In a small bowl place the confectioners sugar, add in 3 Tablespoons of the chai tea, and 1 Tablespoon heavy cream.
Stir together to form the glaze. Drizzle over top of scones after they have cooled.
Enjoy this sweet treat!
