Mint Pesto Sauce

A vibrant sauce with that will liven up any dish!

  • 10 tea bags of Novus Classic Mint Herbal Tea
  • 1 quart of water
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 bunch of mint, just leafs 
  • 1 cup olive oil 
  • 1/2 cup of parmagian cheese
  • 1 teaspoon if salt


Bring the bags of tea and the water to a boil.  Removed the tea bags and reduce it to 1/2 cup. Let the tea to cool down, when is completely chilled  add it in to a blender with the garlic and purée it.  Add the rest of the ingredients, except the oil. Turn the blender on low and slowly add the oil to form the pesto.  Turn the blender on high speed  for about 10 - 15 seconds to finish the pesto .
