I am "hooked" on this Salted Caramel! I was expecting a sickening sweet, (I do not like my tea too sweet, if sweet at all). Oh, was I surprised! I love it as a little pick me up during the day and as a treat on a chilly night. I think what I love most though, THE SMELL! Yes, it smells divine!

I was actually dreading the sugary experience that I expected, as I drink my black tea straight up hot and perfect; however, I was pleasantly surprised that it did taste very much like classic, black tea, but with just the perfect whisper of salted caramel. Neither sweet nor salty whatsoever. Just the essence. I'm rating this one 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Too sweet for my tastes
by Alita from Idaho, USA on 10/17/2017 1:57:45 AM
This tea put me off immediately by smelling sickeningly sweet. I made it at work, and my coworker seated on the other side of the cube kitty-corner to me could smell the cup, it was just so syrupy-sweet smelling! I enjoy sweet teas, and it took me a long time to wean myself off adding sugar to my cuppa, and even I thought, “Ugh, that looks way too sweet!” The taste was far too syrupy to me. There was certainly a caramely flavor to it, but it came off as a caramel-infusion of maple syrup rather than a caramel-flavored tea. I thought that adding sweetener was throwing fuel onto the fire, but trying to drink it plain, it somehow came off as far too astringent, despite having such a sweet flavor. The whole taste was just off-putting to me. I found it drinkable when I sweetened it, but it was so sweet I didn’t particularly like it. I couldn’t seem to find any happy medium where it came off right. The flavor and the blend just wasn’t my cup of tea. Full review: https://teatimetuesdayreviews.wordpress.com/2017/02/07/tea06/
Salted Caramel Tea-No Flavor
by Sherry from Newport News on 5/25/2017 9:00:39 PM
I was so excited to find this because Salted Caramel is one of my all time favorites. I made a cup as soon as I got home. It smelled sooooo good. I took a sip and there is zero salted caramel flavor. I am so disappointed. I am surprised because I drink a lot of Bigelow teas and they are usually really good. Is it possible I got a bad batch?
Salted Caramel Tea, Yum!
by Alice from Minneapolis on 5/22/2017 7:38:09 PM
This tea choice is flavorful, smooth and has a nice aroma. Extremely enjoyable as an after dinner compliment. It's only shortfall is that it is difficult to find in our grocery stores.
Taste like normal tea
by Coco from Montreal on 4/26/2017 11:50:40 PM
It is tasteless. As said before, it is my last resort when i can't find my tea. It smells soooo good...but taste like regular tea.
If only it tasted as good as it smelled...

I made myself a cup just now with 3 tea bags soaking in it. I was hoping maybe 3 would intense the flavor somehow since 1-2 does little to nothing. I am curious as to how this used to taste since people seemed to love it at one time. Right now I am only drinking it as a last resort because I ran out of Pods. I would of switched to this if it had a strong flavor.
Salted Caramel Tea
by Pam from Mulvane on 11/22/2016 6:55:01 PM
I have been drinking this flavor tea for almost a year and it was wonderful. My last box I opened has a completely different taste. Like 2 other reviewers stated it is tasteless. I thought I had a bad batch but after looking at several stores I can no longer find it. I would order some but you have to buy a case and if it tastes as bad as the ones I have it would be a waste of money. Bigelow, did you change the formula?

Truly terrible purchase. This tea has zero flavor.
by Gregory from Phoenix on 1/24/2016 12:13:03 PM
I just recently bought this product, because I am trying to cut down on the amount of caffeine I drink. When I first opened it, I was surprised how good it smelled. It smelled exactly as it is titled. However when I actually drank it I was severely disappointed. The tea tasted like water with a little bit of a bitter taste. I made this tea 4 times so far and every time, I got the same results. After reading the great reviews here I thought I must be doing something wrong, so I used two teabags, it still didn't work. I wish it was as delicious as it smells.
Love it

Seen this at a Bagel shop in Milford Pa. I love Bigalow Green Tea & thought I'd try this it is such a relief to find something so tasty with no calories or carbs. I put alil almond milk or heavy whipping cream in it.....it is such a delight. I did put one Splenda in it the first time but truly doesn't need it......Thanks for making such great teas :)

I loved this tea!!! only 2 things that would make it better; one if it came in decaf and two if I could find it locally - bought one box in my local Safeway just to try and 3 days later they are out and told me it was no longer order-able.... GRRR I drink my tea black, but this with a splash of milk and you could close your eyes and believe you were drinking caramel ice cream topping....
