Bigelow® Bigelow®

All of us at some point and time have probably donated goods or given monetary gifts to organizations, missions and homeless shelters in our local communities. Have you ever thought about the amount of goods and donations these not for profit organizations get, especially around the holiday season? The Bigelow Tea Louisville Plant family did just that and on November 16, 2013 six Louisville Plant employees (Lesley Carrico, Sherry O'Brien, Sue Cortes, Jeff Pinkerton, Chad Tennant & Thad Judy) along with three of their family members teamed up with our good friends at Wayside Christian Mission to sort through and organize donations at one of their four thrift store locations in the Louisville area. Wayside Christian Mission is one of the largest homeless shelter networks in the Louisville area with 28 different homeless shelters serving the 12,000 - 12,500 persons in Louisville who experience homelessness over the course of any given year. Our friends at Wayside were truly thankful for our efforts and each Bigelow team member seemed individually rewarded for their efforts. Great Job Team!
