Preservation of New Hampshire Land for over 50 years

Company founder, Ruth Campbell Bigelow had the vision to acquire open space in New Hampshire.  Today, the family shares Ruth's commitment to support New Hampshire's land conservation program with a firm commitment to hold and maintain the 220 acres in its current undeveloped condition by actively supporting New Hampshire's Statewide Program of Action to Conserve our Environment (SPACE).  Selective forestry has been done on the property twice to promote certain species to flourish and to provide an income for the property so that it can remain undeveloped.  The Bigelows also saved and now maintain the original house built on the property in 1794.
