The Story Behind Constant Comment
Join David C. Bigelow, Co-Chair of Bigelow Tea, as he tells the
story of how Constant Comment tea was created by his mother, Ruth
Campbell Bigelow, over 60 years ago. Created in her kitchen
in 1945, Constant Comment is truly an American classic. It
has been loved by generation after generation of tea drinkers.
And, most importantly, each and every tea bag is overwrapped
and sealed in a stay fresh foil packet so that all the goodness and
classic flavor is protected until you get ready to have a cup of
tea.
See how Bigelow Tea's 20th Annual Community Challenge fundraiser
raised a record $60,000, the entirety of which will be distributed
to thirteen local area charities. More than 1,000 strong took
the "challenge" and participated in Kids' Fun Run, 2-mile walk and
5K race.
