For Bigelow Tea Company, being sustainable is part of the corporate culture. Recently, the Fairfield, Connecticut based company received the Green Coast Award for Business Practices. The family-owned company "tries to make a difference." The company has racked up many achievements in energy conservation, land preservation and protection, waste reduction, and supplier relations.
