Make a Wedding Wish by Cindy Fenton, Fairfield CT

(August 11, 2012)  The morning of our wedding it was raining - as forecasted by friends & family in what seemed to be hourly weather updates for days and days! It's going to rain and yes it did! They had sent prayers; put statues of saints in their windows, nervously watching the weather channel hoping to chase away rain clouds.  Their wish for us was that we would have a beautiful, sunny day at the beach.  Dan and I spent the morning in the kitchen brewing Bigelow Iced Tea for the reception (sorry sounds like I'm blowing smoke, but it's true) watching the drizzle out the window.  At 2:00PM when I was getting ready to leave the house, the sun came out.  The sunshine wishes came true and ours was about to.

My name is Cindy and I have been working at Bigelow Tea for 7 years.  When it comes to counting blessings, I have many.  A beautiful daughter Sarrah and an amazing grandchild, Kaija Rose.  I have family & friends that will make you laugh until you cry; a work family equal to none; and a husband who loves me so very much.  When Dan & I talked about our wedding, we decided that instead of gifts we would like donations made to the Make a Wish Foundation. We had set a goal of $2,000 and with some checks still being deposited; it looks like our total will be $2500.

We are so pleased that with the support of our family & friends, we helped make someone else's wish come true!
