The United Illuminating Company (U.I.) Lighting Fair

lightfairWith help from the Bigelow Tea Fairfield Green Team, the local United Illuminating Company (U.I.) organized and held an Energy Conservation Lighting Fair for all Bigelow employees in November, 2010. U.I. employees offered a variety of energy efficient items for sale at discounted prices, such as bulbs, lamps, and holiday lights. 

 

Bigelow Tea also gave an onsite presentation on electronics and energy usage, focusing on televisions and computers.  All who attended picked up extra tips on how to save energy at home (just in time for holiday shopping, too).
