Simply Amazing!!!

You wouldn't expect it, but this makes an amazing iced tea. Yes, and here's my recipe. Use a quart canning jar filled 3/4 full with fresh filtered water heated in your microwave to just below boiling. Pop in 4 tea bags and steep for 3-5 minutes. Remove bags, add desired amount of sugar (I use Demerara), stir until dissolved, and then finish filling jar with ice. Stir again until ice is melted and pour this over additional ice in a tall glass and you have it! Takes only minutes and you'll discover that Bigelow Earl Grey makes an Amazing Summertime Treat. Enjoy!!
Great product when in single foil, not so much the 4 in 1 packge

Love the single pouch teas, but was sorely disappointing when i purchased the 40 count pack. There are 4 tea bags per pouch and the bad thing is the other bags grows stale if you only want 1 cup or 2 cups. Also these seem to take longer to steep to get the desired taste that a single foil pouch would take. I had to use 2 bags to get the desired color and flavor, i was using 212°F water and it still took 15 minutes with 2 bags to get that wonderful taste I'm used to from an earl grey tea. I think after this box is done i will buy a box of 20 single packs from here of earl grey and buy a box from Tazo and see which is a better option.
4 bags per pouch
by Timothy from New Cumberland on 5/26/2015 10:50:04 PM
Earl Grey is my favorite so I ordered the 40 count case. The foil pouches come with 4 bags per pouch as opposed to 1 bag per pouch. Wish it came as 1 bag per pouch like the 20 count boxes,
