When Ruth Bigelow created her own special blend of rind of orange, sweet spice and tea, she never dreamed she was starting a family business that would span three generations - or change the way Americans enjoy tea. How her remarkable creation succeeded against all odds is a story lovingly recounted in this 96-page hardcover edition by her son David C. Bigelow.

I have not read, but the write-up by son was great. I will read it soon.

What interesting stories about the evolution of tea and especially in North America. It is hard to believe that only in recent years, we almost had no tea plantation remaining in North America! I also loved the factory tour and the trolley ride when we visited the Plantation last month!
I drink a cup nearly every night

I love Bigelow tea especially the orange and sweet spice. It is my favorite because it is just the right combination of orange and sweetness. It doesn't bite back and it is not so sweet that it doesn't taste like tea. Plus one very important reason for buying this tea is it is made in the USA. I think it is so important to support family businesses that are here in our own country. It gives people jobs, homes and a purpose. I got a box of 20 bags and I figure each bag cost about 18 cents. That is not bad for a cup of tea.
