Great Tea
by Gary from North Charleston on April 25, 2013
On a night out with my friends from Liverpool, we had dinner at High Cottons and was served the Charleston Breakfast tea. I'm not normaly a tea drinker, but I think that has changed. I loved the taste of this tea compared to any I have ever had before. I soon will take their tour and stop by their store for a purchase. Think I will give some for Christmas presents also.

Best tea ever
by Lesley from The Villages, Fl on August 30, 2012
I toured the Plantation during a visit to nearby Edisto Island. I was an occasional tea drinker prior to discovering your tea. Now I have at least 2 cups a day, and ice tea at least once. No after taste, smooth and yet robust. American grown and that alone is a huge plus.
Best Quality
by Mary from Siloam Springs on August 8, 2012
I'm a huge tea fanatic, and I came across this tea by chance. I have to say, it is some of the best tea I've ever had--that's saying something! I've never had a black tea with greater quality, and it's definitely got a distinct flavor that British and Ceylon teas don't have. I guess that's the American flavor! Outstanding.
Simply the Best Tea

This is the most flavorable tea, hot or cold, I've ever had! I want to share it with all my tea drinking family & friends!

I do not drink hot tea(tried it once before and did not like it) but my wife got me to try your tea. It is great, now I will not buy hot tea anywhere else.
Perfect Peach
by Jacqueline from Tennessee on August 9, 2011
In the past, I always used Mint Tea for summer coolers. Since visiting Charleston and buying the Peach Tea, I now have a refreshing alternative. I also drink the Peach Tea hot in the winter...and day-dream of springtime in Charleston.
Great time-oops tea
by Roseanna from Rocky Mount on July 22, 2011
My daughter and I visited the plantation in June 2011 and took the tour. It was very informative and well worth the time. Afterwards we took in the gift shop and tried the mint tea, and as my cousin from England would say-it was luscious. We purchased a variety of teas and they are wonderful. I just wish I had come earlier in the day and had more time to spend checking out the gift shop for other tea related items. Many of my friends drink tea and I think I have part of my Xmas list done in July. Thanks for a great time and as well as educational. The staff there was awesome and so very helpful with finding other sites of interest in the area. I plan to be back again, but for now I will shop online since I'm down to just few tea bags.
Buy American
by Ron from Fredericksburg on June 25, 2011
A number of years ago I purchased a box of the Classic tea while in Charleston on business. I looked for the tea when I returned home; but allas with no luck. Last year we had the opportunity to tour the plantation and while there I purchased enough to last several months. I have tried teas around the world and I keep coming back to "American Classic Tea" not only does it out shine most teas it is MADE IN THE USA. Keep producing the teas and I will continue to drink them.
Mmmmmm, good
by Mel'isa from New Orleans on June 9, 2011
My husband and I toured the plantation outside of Charleston this past May and picked up some of the tea. The black tea is one of the best I've ever had, and I'm a (hot) tea drinker. When we were at the plantation they had the mint tea served as an iced tea and it was so delicious, we kept going back for more. We bought several packages so we could enjoy it at home. The packages need to be larger as 12 teabags is far too few.

I found American Classic Tea does wonders to help soothe bronchial inflammation from asthma. It works better than asthma inhalers for me. Thanks!

Best Black Tea in the this Country
on January 15, 2010
Great for Hot Tea, but I love it for Iced Tea. You can't go wrong using this everyday. My family will drink a gallon at dinner time and ask when I'll make more. Well worth the price, buy it by the case.

This is a wonderful tea, we brought some when we visited Charleston a few years back, makes a good cup of hot tea, nice for anything of the year

Love the tea. Do not like the new teabags. Paper tag sticks to nylon bag, occasionally ripping the seam. Paper tag too small to handle easily. String is so short it pulls the tag into a mug or pot. Liked the previous, less bulky package better than big new one.
